We choose the shortest path available for traffic that is inbound to your servers. By doing this, we improve your application and site performance while reducing latency, oftentimes in conjunction with DNS servers. That allows for better speed for complex requests such as voice over IP and streaming audio.
We manage networking traffic by utilizing the F5 Big-IP Load Balancer, which in turn utilizes a Traffic Management Operating System. The Load Balancer was developed by F5 engineers and uses a Linux OS for most of the basic management functions. This ensures that the lion’s share of resources are used to direct traffic. F5 has worked hard over the years to ensure that their software and hardware is designed to streamline the Network Traffic Management process. That means that we can evenly send distribute traffic to a variety of different servers. That allows our clients to use multiple servers for a single site that receives a lot of traffic. One small monthly fee includes as much as 10Mbps of standard load balanced traffic.
